Im so sick of ESPNU. We are ranked now, and playing a pretty decent Kentucky team. I would rather be on the SEC Network because alot of people in SEC country don't care about all the ACC and Big Ten games that play at 11, and would rather watch the SEC Network game. Not to mention there are so many good games on at night that no one will watch ours at 6.

Ralph & Co are undefeated when Herm and Matkvik are calling the game. I hope every game here on out is on the U.

When I saw your subject I thought what was ridiculous is 8 out of or 9 games are at night...our players are used to it by now, might as well keep playing at night. The U is getting on my nerves too, but don't fix something that's not broken. The U has been our best friend this year.

6pm game ESPNU > 11am game on SEC network. Not even close.

I have no idea which game gets better ratings. I don't honestly care. But, I do know that the atmosphere at 11am pales in comparison to the atmosphere for 6pm games. You might as well just toss out the home field advantage for 11am games because the crowd is out of it. Having an electric atmosphere far exceeds the benefits of having an extra half million viewers - if that is even the case.

he might even learn the name of our school and the actual names of some of our players. We can't deny Herm this kind of opportunity.

i will agree with above poster.... i would rather play at night no matter if we were just televised locally in starkville. the game atmosphere and the tailgating is soooooo much better. we have played or scheduled a ton of night games this year so far. i love it!

Great to be on TV every game but Espnu is not HD for me and it's noticeable on my 120 inch HD screen.

I will take a night game on ESPNU over the 11:21 game any day of the week

and Ole Miss wins a couple games, Ole Miss-LSU will be the 2:30 game. Now if we are 7-3 and Arkansas is still ranked, then reverse it. I just see Arkansas going on a little slide from here on out. I think they could lose this weekend to Ole Miss and I don't think they beat South Carolina.

I swear, it is like they have a private contract with them or something... maybe they missed the part about Tebow moving on.

Which sucks. I'm grateful we haven't played on the SEC Network this season--I've been able to watch every game on TV without paying for Gameplan. That's a first.

Plus the more often Herm covers State, the less likely he is to refer to us as "Mississippi."

If it was on John "the savior superman" Wall's jersey then that must be the correct spelling.

really makes it feel like a party. Zombie Nation at 11:30 just doesn't feel like balls-tripping acid rave time.

and its likely the Egg Bowl. If we have to play the early game, I'd rather it be a road game.

We also have to be on ESPN/ESPN2 at least once as well. Arkansas and Alabama are the likely candidates there. If CBS gets the Alabama game, you can bank on Arkansas being primetime ESPN, which is my preference. We do not have to be covered by CBS in the current contract. They can become Alabama's defacto NBC/Notre Dame if they want.
