I asked why they are ********. I think it’s ridiculous that he’s refusing to allow a vote. If you don’t want to pass them, fine. They at least deserve to be voted on. I said the same thing when Harry Reid pulled it. Bills should be voted on and either passed or stopped per legislative rules in the Constitution. It’s wrong regardless of party and a disservice to the people they were elected to represent.

MM pushing judges through is serving the people who elected him. Him bringing bills to the floor with 6% republican approval probably isn’t what the people who elected him would want.
Maybe he could’ve held some votes Jan/early February, but the house threw something to the senate with 0 republican support and it had to be dealt with.

Goodness. The election security act did nothing to enhance election security, centralized more power in Washington, and the Dems shot down Republican attempts to actually amend the bill to enhance security. That “bipartisan” bill got 1 Republican vote. Why would McConnell waste his time when he’s busy dealing with Pelosi and schiffs impeachment?
I assume your “equality act” has something to do with creating more protected classes, which is a nonstarter.
The “paycheck fairness act” would be completely unworkable in practicality. If you want to know if you’re paid market rate, look for a new job. If you can’t get a new job paying more, then you’re paid what you’re worth.
I don’t know what’s all in the women’s bill, but I see you say they tried to expand gun control, which is a nonstarter and probably not constitutional depending how drafted.
The House passing a dead on arrival bill and slapping a feel good name on it doesn’t mean McConnell should bring it to a vote when he knows it will be shot down and democrats will try to do what you just did and cite feel good names rather than all the land mines they have hidden in the bill, and when he had to spend his time dealing with a completely partisan impeachment charade.

Mtich is more than Kentucky's senator. He is The Senator. He has the power and the rest of America depends on him. There is nothing good that will come out of a House sponsored Democrat bill. Not a single one is worth considering.
Mitch needs to focus solely on the Judicial and make sure every vacant judgeship is filled by a conservative judge. Once he has accomplished this he can start working on tax relief for the middle class. There are lots of things Mitch can do before the House goes back to the GOP in the fall. After November we can move forward.

I don't mind Matt, I think he has good intentions generally. I think at the very least it should be an interesting read about the state. As a Trump supporter I finds his takes frustrating but I just look past it. Oddly I find the two to be similar, just on different party lines.
