Latest poll shows a dead heat. In fact, even if McConnell pulls it out, there is a good chance he will no longer be Senate Majority Leader. Going by the latest poll in every race, it would be Democrats 51 Republicans 47 with Montana and Kentucky even.

Those polls are pretty old. It's hard to get reliable sampling in Kentucky. And I don't think Change Research is non-partisan anyway or even the other poll listed.

In a presidential year where Trump will win the state handily, that'll boost Mitch. Dem turnout will be higher in Louisville/Lexington but I don't see McConnell performing as badly as Bevin did (and Bevin only lost by 5,000 votes despite his disapproval ratings).

Even if he pulls it out? I would be willing to make a large wager that he wins both the primary, and the general election, by double digit margins.

McGrath would be doomed. This is an election happening on the same day as the General. There will be far too many Trump supporters voting for her to have a shot. The polls when Allison faced him showed a very close race and he ended up winning by his largest margin since the 90s.

No matter your thoughts on McConnell, I dont think theres a real shot to beat him. There will be a 2-1 or 3-1 Trump-Biden vote. She will have to get a large chunk of Trump supporters to vote her way.

After the last presidential election poll debacle, I no longer trust any type of polls. Hillary was gonna win by double digits, and well, we all know how that turned out.

I don’t know if it’s the way they ask the poll questions, or if they only reach out to those groups of people that will give them the results they want. Whatever the failure, I think the polling process is no longer valid for US elections.

Having lived in Florida for almost 15 years, I don’t have my finger on the pulse of the KY electorate, but I would be hard pressed to be convinced that McConnell will even marginally be tested by McGrath. And I am not a McConnell guy for the record.

McGrath is about as uninspiring a candidate as you could have and IMHO to dethrone a long time operative like McConnell you need someone who is inspiring to swing voters on both sides.

He really talks very little about politics on the show. It's two hours long. He might gloss over a topic and just allude that he doesn't like Trump every other day.

But man some of you act like he's nega-Hannity. Guess if you break through that Fox News bubble and threaten the snowflake delusion for just a second, it hits conservatives like a sledge hammer and wounds them irreparably.
Joe Biden for Potus...SERIOUSLY! See Seattle and Minnesota when going to poles. America will be no more inside of 10 years if/when Democrats are ever in charge again! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Can we get a wellness check? Granddaddy woke up from a coma, tripled up his oxycontin, and replied to a 6 month old post with off topic gibberish.

McCunnell was a good politician when he started and was bought out and got rich. Did you get rich while he was in the Senate for how many years.? I didn't.
I remember when this guy would jump from porch to porch to get votes in Louisville running for nothing near a Senate seat. (I lived in Louisvile during that time)
McGrath thinks because she can fly a fighter jet she is a leader. Stop telling people how you flew into combat and talk how you gonna do something for me that McConnell can't or won't.
I drove a destroyer into combat but don't elect me to the US Senate. (throttle man who couldn't see where he was going)
That leaves us with Booker. Check him out for yourself and vote your feel for what you want in the near future from your US senator from KY..

I'm against most everything he believes in so I won't be voting for him. I was hoping to get a response that indicated what policies he supports that you agree with and what policies the other candidates support that you disagree with. I guess that was too much to ask.

Thank you for the best comment I ever had from something I said here.
I really don't know much on him but I will do my backgrounds on this guy.
I will look for the deep stuff. I can find stuff on the internet.
Even as an unknown to me, he is the best bet RIGHT now.
Kinda like the last prez election, IS THERE ANY BODY ELSE I CAN VOTE FOR?
I'll get back soon.

I can tell you what I know about him and why I would never vote for him. He is another candidate who thinks it's okay to take money from one group of people who earned it and give it to another group who didn't. He believes in medicare for all. I don't. He supports the green new deal, which is ridiculous on its face. He is for universal basic income. Another example of taking money from people who earned it an giving it to people who didn't. He favors a very liberal immigration policy, which I don't. He believes in student debt forgiveness and free college education. Still another example of taking money from someone who earned it and giving it to someone who didn't. His attitude on gun control also worries me.

He is about the last candidate I would vote for because he doesn't understand the concept of individual liberty that our country was founded upon.

We will learn a lot from the Booker V. McGrath race. Just how big is the "social media bubble". If you look at social media you'd think Booker is going to win in a rout. I suspect McGrath wins pretty easily.

Social media isn't a good gauge of what people are actually thinking.

It's not that simple this year though. Booker came on very late and due to Covid there had been a huge push for early absentee voting. I know my mom voted ages ago already, when Booker felt like a nobody and I bet many others did also. I wouldn't be surprised if Booker is close on election day voting but loses pretty badly overall.

Wife mailed in for McGrath. Idc who wins as long as Moscow loses. He's the perfect reason to want term limits.

No thank you. I will stick with the current Senate majority leader who is the 2nd most powerful person in DC and who represents my state. Given there will be a lot more judicial appts the next 4 years, he and The Donald will be sitting pretty in getting those conservative justices on the bench.

If you had even a smidgen of sense, you would....oh never mind. Lost cause.

Is this the candidate Matt Jones endorsed? An admitted socialist?
