Matt Jones would have destroyed her lol. McGrath barely survived one small push that lasted a week at the end of the race in an election where everyone voted early.

Where are the state wide vote totals to be found? Can't seem to find them posted anywhere.

I realize anything can happen but Trump is going to win this state easily. I don’t see many people pulling the lever for trump and then pulling the lever for a Democrat.

I think this will be a quick election night for these two.
I also see a lot of people not feeling the need to vote since trump will win the state.

It took a week to find out who won a little senate primary. Do you think Kentucky will repeat that in November or will they have their sh** together by then?

Will admit l voted mail in for primary, but no way I'm doing it for the general especially living in Jefferson County...just wondering when the local natives will be clamoring /rioting to change our county name?

Making fun of her military service is low. Even for you.

I don't make fun of anyone's service to our country. I make jabs at her misleading attempt to have everyone believe she was a fighter "pilot", the commercials, etc.

Mitch McConnell fleecing the taxpayers.

"Chao's parents launched Foremost Group in New York in 1964. The company is currently run by her father and sister, according to the company's website. Its application for a Paycheck Protection Program loan was approved on April 15, the SBA's data shows. While the exact loan amount was not included in the report, the SBA said a loan between $350,000 and $1 million was approved, enabling the company to save 20 jobs."

Don't care in relation to Mitch. Enabling the company to save jobs was the purpose of it anyway. Democrats approved the bill and should have placed restrictions to prevent something like this, but they wanted to have their own hands in the cookie jar too.

All they had to do was ask a related-party question on the application, and if somebody was caught lying on the application, then repayment and possible punishment would be warranted.

Once again, government is proven to be inefficient and reactive. And yet, some people want more government in their lives while complaining about the lack of ethics and austerity. [laughing]

Fine with it saving jobs. But usually companies I've seen that received that amount have more like 120 employees. Sure there is some questionable payouts to companies with ties to politicians on both parties.
We need term limits to oust some the cronies that sit in office for decades.

When did we establish "usually" in such an unusual situation?

Did the companies with 120 employees take 6x the money as the 20 employee company to fit to scale? What's the difference between a company with 120 employees taking the same amount of money as 6 different companies combined with 20 employees each if they are all saving the same amount of jobs?

Also, what good is a term limit when the money that controls most everything can just install another puppet? The cycle will only continue with a different face and then nothing will change anyway.

Matt wouldn’t make it in big time politics. I never thought he would run. He doesn’t have the temperament or testicular fortitude to handle it. He gets too bent out of shape when folks disagree with him on small stuff. Mitch would chew him up.

Matt Jones never had any intention to run for the U.S. Senate from Kentucky. It was all a political stunt to get ratings.

There is a term limit every single election day. Nobody seems to want to use it. In the case of McConnell...thank god we have him to protect us from the rest of the Demoncrat leadership who are all from either Californica or NY.

LOL. Matt Jones would not have destroyed McGrath. She ran him off of TV according to some of the posts I have read. I don't know if that is true because I do not live there but the truth I do know is Matt Jones was all talk. He had no intention of running for senate. He did not have the funds or support to make a run for a U.S. Senate seat. All of the National Democrat money went to McGrath. They bet the "house" on her and we all know that is wasted money. I doubt Jones raised enough money to run on TV ad.

Matt Jones was just being Matt Jones when he announced for the senate. It was a publicity stunt and it worked. His rating increased and he had a bunch of liberal Burn Loot Murder Democrats eating out of his hand. Be not dismayed he will find another office to run for next election cycle..

All I’m saying is she had the backing of the Democratic Party the whole time and still almost lost to a dude who decided 2 weeks before the election that maybe he should turn the heat up a little.

Better watch your back talking about Bloodbath McGrath like that. In case you didn’t know she was a fighter pilot and a mom so she is qualified for every job on earth. My family is ex military and never have we seen someone who has used their service so blatantly as she does. She is like Al Bundy (Polk High 4 TD’s) in that all she talks about ie she is a former fighter pilot. If that was the most important thing in elections and leaders Maverick and Iceman would be Pres and VP.

Project Veritas broke it off in the fighter pilot.

Of course everyone already knew she would just be a Schumer puppet but it's funny to see her strategy so fully exposed.

Anyone with common sense can see her ad campaigns and understand her tactics. It's to minimize her liberal image and focus on the handful of things that conservatives typically embrace....ie...her military service.

Because I think a lot of us on the right aren't huge Mitch fans either, but the reality is she isn't anything close to resembling what we want.

If people would simply consider that Bevin was the same thing, and then look and see what we got by not showing up to vote for him anyway allowing the *** clown Beshear into the gov mansion....it becomes quickly apparent what we've got to do.

And it's a shame because it doesn't make Mitch a great choice either, but the alternative is absolutely unnacceptable. Look around other liberal cities and states. Hell on Earth. Look at Louisville. Dem. Dem. Dem.

I HATED Mitch McConnell for a long time. To me, represents everything that is wrong with Washington and career politicians. However, he's been roadblock for the radical left and has helped reshape the judiciary, so I'll be thanking him with a vote.

As CB3 said, the votes against Bevin left us with one of the most incompetent (giving him the benefit of the doubt that it's just crippling incompetence and not malintent) governors in America. Now's not the time to be making statements by electing another inexperienced wildly incompetent person as a leader in the state.
