Right now … we are a good team, but we are not an excellent team.
Couldn’t match their energy and couldn’t make a shot.
I just hope everyone don’t give up we are a fickle board. Everyone knew this game would be tough,
If Williams and Carr don’t man up, this is going to be typical in the SEC.

When Brea came out of the game earlier this half you could see him shake his head and grumble as he jogged off

Every single offensive set we ran tonight, our boys absorbed more contact than clemson's man did. BS bailout call that puts the cherry on top of a BS called game in general

Someone was arguing with me in one of the other game threads about not needing a go-to guy because so many guys can score. This game is all the proof you need as to why we (any team) 100% needs a guy who can go get points when you absolutely need it.
We’re probably gonna lose quite a few games when we are shooting poorly, just like tonight. We aren’t good enough in other areas of the game to overcome bad shooting against decent competition. Live by the 3, die by the 3. And we’re lucky we haven’t died by the 3 yet.

Might not have made a difference in the outcome, but what a soft call against Oweh given how they’ve bodied our drivers all night with few whistles. This has been a frustrating game.
Gonna have to keep recruiting it. Need a mix of freshmen studs and transfers.

We’re going to be fine. I still really like this team.
We don’t have huge stars, so I feel like depth is our weapon. I am kind of surprised at how short the rotation was tonight.
Buddy, we better have a Come To Jesus revival, because Zaga would beat this Clemson by 15.

I hate CBB refs so much man. We didn't shoot well, may have lost with a fairly called game anyway, but we have a chance to overcome the bad shooting with a fair whistle. It changes the dynamic so much, changes the mentality of the players, effects EVERYTHING.
And they added pieces from the portal. You return everyone but 2 guys and you still have an e8 foundation. There is a reason they are a top 25 KenPom team
All that said, despite the officiating playing into their physical style, we hit open 3/ and we win

I think we are now seeing that this team will probably lose about 8 or 9 games and max out at around S16 at best. I was really hoping for more, but I just don’t see it.
