I told you guys not to get your hopes up. You should not be up or down until the end of April. We'll know by then if we will make it to the tournament.
ETA: scratch that. We may know if we struck out a whole lot sooner than April. But we will know where we're going by the time we get to the end of April. It sucks, but we have to wait.
On the other hand, our softball team is doing fantastically, and their stadium is close by. I wonder if the baseball folks will mosey over if things get bad.

The really bad thing if Selmon ends up firing him is the fact that Selmon is going to be the guy hiring his replacement.
Pitching is fine. Lots of missed evaluations on position players. Weak up the middle, Bryce Chance at CF?…. CF should be a hoss, one of your best athletes.
Auburn walked off #24 Troy. We get them this coming Tuesday. This could easily be a loss if we hit like we did vs USM. AND......I would not sleep on Mizzou State. They usually have some quality teams. Have been to the dance several times and are usually competitive with a lot of D1 teams.
USM went and got a SS from BYU & a DH from Kentucky and we keep attempting to moneyball these small school kids into SEC players. Lemonis and Geaut make me hate MSU baseball. No fundamental baseball and just dead pull hitters swinging for the fence every AB. We have a "Baseball Bros" approach to ball. It's sickening!
