I'm not trying to start political debate with this at all, but I do find the title of the article hilarious considering how wrong fivethirtyeight was about the electionI'll have to dig up the article, but there was an analysis I read earlier in the season that point spread from the previous season was a better predictor of W-L than the prior seasons W-L. And while the Bears had one of the tougher W-L strengths of schedule, that point difference was much weaker, so they may be primed for a sneaky easy schedule.
TLDR, the Bears schedule goes from 8th toughest to 20th based on adjusted SOS formula.
