Watched Kiffin interviewed after the SEC championship game and still don't get what so many think is so great about him. He comes across as more dumb than smart. He's the classic born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a triple guy because he has always gotten great jobs. He was a disaster at USC and to Al Davis a disaster with the Raiders. His one year at UT wasn't exactly great. He mouthed off a lot, recruited questionable players with questionable methods and got credit for playing UF and Bama closer than many expected. His best win was beating Georgia (UK beat them in Athens that year) in Knoxville but also lost to Ole Miss, UCLA (at home), Auburn (Auburn was 3-5 in the SEC that year) and badly to Va. Tech in the bowl game. He is a coordinator at a program that is recruiting like hasn't been seen in years so he has great talent.
Houston is a job where every coach in recent history has been very successful and moved onto better jobs. Doubt that happens here.
