word around the water cooler is Florida recruits are being told Kiffin is the next coach. OM players are talking about it at practice. # is 13.5 for 6 years. I have no idea if this will affect how they play, but, this is same crap we had to deal with at this time of year with Mullen.

I heard something similar this morning too, from someone inside the OM AD office. Said she was told to get her resume updated.

I'm loving this. They are melting hard. Their best season ever being derailed by rumors of their coach leaving, which we're all too familiar with.

Stages of Grief:
Denial > Anger > Bargaining > Depression > Acceptance

It seems like most of their fanbase has moved past Denial and are split between Anger, Bargaining, and Depression.

I wish elite programs were falling all over themselves to hire our coach who has us ranked #6 in the country with 2 very winnable games remaining.

I agree - but we had a very similar situation with Mullen. The results were good but the rumors and speculation sucked.

Hopefully they hire a Moorhead as replacement and set their program back years like we did.

He's about as good as Mullen at addressing these things directly...honestly unless he is just looking for one last large payday before he gets out of coaching, I think he's dumb to leave. He can't spend the money he has now.

Lane Kiffin may take the Florida job, but he isn't hanging out at Panama City Beach and he isn't driving his Land Rover 5 hours down to Boca.
