Kimdeechy thread made me wonder: Ole Miss Rebel recruiting- problems?

they have already had 6 players decommit:

Antonio Allen- 4-star that dropped them for Indiana (Indiana?????)
Marquel Combs
Darious Cummings- 4-star that dropped them for Florida (understandable)
Finesse Middleton- 3-star that dropped them for Louisville
Dannon Cavil- 3-star that dropped them for California
Kalio Moore- 4-star legacy that dropped them for rival Mississippi State

Now we have the Kimdeechy rumor this morning- and according to one Ole Miss Rebel on another site- "
If we don't get RN, any big fish not already committed to us do not come. Except maybe Conner."

Are they having problems closing the deal? Is Freezus good in the beginning and then his act wears off?

Recruiting season has hit full speed it appears

I bet Conner ends up at Bammer. Their class will fall apart without Kimchee. Hell it wouldn't surprise me if D Kimchee transferred out. He's a player now and can get to a better program with big/little bro.

Derrick Jones is waivering as well......

If Conner spurns them for MSU or Bama, heads will explode. They are even counting Liggins toward this class to get credit, even though the guy didn't even play football this year.

Freeze is SUPPOSED to pull in a Top 15 class this year just like Orgeron did in 2006. Appears that Freeze isn't quite the recruiter O was, but on the other hand, he can do a little coaching.

Right about Robert, wrong about Denzel..............

The class does indeed hinge on Robert. Even if they do land Conner, they were supposed to, it's USP. If Robert doesn't come, no other high profile guys will come.

...and we all know what happens when out of the kitchen for the bowl game.

Good thing Alabama is a close drive for the Rebels, but I believe Bulldawg faithful are free the weekend of January 5***

I don't think he would transfer, but it's not stupid to even suggest it. I could see him transferring out to sit a year and then play 2 with his brother.

All part of the new plan

hatched by C34 and his merry band of internet followers. If we say its true on SPS, recruits will believe it and Ole Miss will be destroyed. Foolproof actually.

Can't wait until signing day is over.

No what is stupid

is as a parent the mom is saying you want your child to go to a place where his walkon older brother went.

I understand the don't want to cheer against each child and guess what you don't have to, Denzel having success on the field
doesn't mean Robert will fail or not have success, they both play on defense.
To suggest that Robert needs to not pick the best situation for him, because his brother is already at a college is craziness.

Stupid? Why would it be out of the realm of possibility to suggest that the brother of the nations #1 recruit, who showed out this his freshman year, might decide to play with his brother at a more prestigious football school in a package deal? They are college kids, stupid **** does happen.

Maybe it would be stupid to suggest the nations #1 recruit would decommit from a top 20 school that is trending up and committing to a school that barely gets bowl eligible and is not even remotely a football power to play with his brother? Oh wait that **** is fn happening right now...stupid indeed

That would be too disruptive. The guy actually may end up being an NFL prospect despite being undersized...

I just haven't seen too often a Freshman All-American transfer even if his brother is a #1 recruit. By all indications, D. Nkemdiche loves Ole Miss and is very public about it.

It is certainly interesting...

This is a downside of recruiting "nationally" how they are - none of those guys have pre-existing or deep loyalty to their school. They will say they are killing us in recruiting because their 3*s have more offers than our 3*s... The difference is that they are going after 3* Georgia "leftover" free agents -- while teams have already learned that MS isn't even worth attempting to recruit for anything less than a true blue-chip talent. We've done a tremendous job of locking down MS and other teams are widely starting to realize that...

If this evolution continues at the same pace as the last 5 years over the next 5 years, people won't bother recruiting MS hardly at all -- It'll be like chasing LSU talent in Louisiana...

Denzel is not going anywhere. That's stupid to even suggest.

While I am with you that it's unlikely to happen- it's not stupid to suggest. Say Robert goes to Bama, Denzel could go juco for a year and then join him at Bama with 2 seasons left to play. Unlikely? Yes. Possible? Also a yes

Unless he is playing everyone via the Twitter and in quotes - it's stupid to suggest.

Now if he is - bravo to the Nkemdiche family.

I totally agree with this. I said I wouldn't be surprised, and wouldn't if it happened. Obviously this family has issues and they could extend to Denzel. Kids do stupid **** during recruiting.

That's his high school link. He signed with FSU out of high school before transferring to JUCO. He is committed to UF.

Kailo Moore decommitted before Freeze was even hired. I'd write the story up about the others but I doubt you really care.

Here's how that story would go..."They were all offered greyshirts, so they decided to take other teams' offers."

The Denzel thing aside, which would be glorious, RK holds the keys to the annual Ole Miss recruiting championship. When he bolts their class will be destroyed. No telling who joins the decommit list once he bails.

Derrick Jones is wavering about like Chris Jones is wavering. Rosebowl is an idiot.

Of course, you're also the one that said Bama was the main competition for Nkemdiche, and he even admits it is likely he won't take an official there.

Can't wait to bring back all of these posts come February 5th. But y'all are as likely to admit you were wrong as Peaches is to pay a bet.

You enjoy running around trying to make ends meet selling condoms, I'll continue to enjoy giving anesthesia.

You couldn't be more wrong on that. It's coming from literally everyone around him...including all 9 of his State-committed teammates in that game.

Good point. Not sure why it would matter if he was a walkon or not though. But even if he went to a JUCO and didn't play next year, he still only has 5 years to play 4. So he'd still have only 1 year to play. Like I said, I didn't think it would happen anyway, but even less so now.

Kinda like when Jay Hughes and a couple of others said Thompson was definitely going to MSU and Rosebowl believed it and fed it to the masses?

Nurse Vicky = funny
Genespack = not funny

You take a hit of that anesthesia every now and then too, or just stick to cough syrup?

anesthesia my ***...he's much closer to a scrub tech...I can hear the Dr now- "Vicky, give me a retractor please." and "What are the bovie settings Vicky?"...no way this guy has anything important to do in the O.R like anesthesia for cranial vaults and such

Addiction in anesthesia isn't a funny joke. 1/10 wind up being a user and 18% of the diagnosed cases come from death or near death as the initial indicator of abuse. I'm all for making jokes, but that's not one of them.

Whatever makes you feel better when you go to bed at night, Peaches.

I have no problem telling people what I do, I'm damn proud of it. I may have wiped **** from time to time, but I also did more good for people in a month than you'll do in a decade.

Holy **** Vicky, your comebacks about your job and **** are beginning to sound like one Derek Dunn.

By the way, Jones said himself in a recent interview that he would "love to play every day with" some of his MSU commit friends in the MS all star team. So before trying to play that info off on Rosebowl, maybe you should make sure the info didn't come directly from Jones' mouth. It's awesome how defensive you guys get when your crootin title may be in jeopardy for 2 years in a row.

And one other thing...what kind of car do you drive, and what was your score on the ACT?

And this quote proves that you literally have zero clue what you are talking about on Jones. NO clue.
