Kinda of funny that WVU has twice as many PA recruits as Pitt at this time

Pitt's coaching staff has almost no ties to Pennsylvania except for one assistant coach who played for Pittsburgh back in the late 80's but never coached at Pitt until this year. They are off to another slow start in recruiting after finishing with the lowest ranked recruiting class among the power conferences last year.

For some reason Pat Narduzzi reminds me of the character Bill "D-Fens" Foster in the movie "Falling Down".

Bill Foster: I've passed the point of no return. Do you know what that is, Beth? That's the point in a journey where it's longer to go back to the beginning. It's like when those astronauts got in trouble. I don't know, somebody messed up, and they had to get them back to Earth. But they had passed the point of no return. They were on the other side of the moon and were out of contact for like hours. Everybody waited to see if a bunch of dead guys in a can would pop out the other side. Well, that's me. I'm on the other side of the moon now and everybody is going to have to wait until I pop out.

WVU just got another great recruit out of Maryland. This just proves again that playing Maryland is more important for recruiting than playing Pitt. WVU is so close to Pittsburgh that it gets a lot of coverage in that area without having to play a team from Pittsburgh. The Maryland game gets us coverage that we normally wouldn't get in the Washington & Baltimore area (somewhere around 8,000,000 people)

Focus on the Maryland series and forget about playing in that empty stadium an hour and half up the road.
