Will be good to see KW and 3A Goochland play again and to my knowledge, this is the first ever meeting between KW and 4A Mechanicsville (formerly Lee-Davis). Two schools that are only 20 minutes apart.

I think they did a very good job of putting together a tough non district schedule.

One of the best high school football games that I ever witnessed was the 2011 Goochland and KW game. Both teams came in at 12-0. It was a battle to the end, with Goochland stopping KW, 3 inches short of the goal line in the final minute and won 16-12.
