Are the practice reps and practice energy the real keys in this system?

I only recommend until 4:00

It's the Hal Mumme coaching tree alive and well.

Damn near every coach under him craps out touchdowns like it's nobody's business.

So true. But I was thinking more about maximizing the times in pads (pre-season and two days during the season). The concept works for gameday, of course, but it could also prove effective in practice for teams that don't normally run up-tempo offenses, for reps and conditioning. But since I've never been to an MSU practice, I'd be interested in the comparison.

Am I the only one that thinks the loss of Kingsbury will really hurt A&M?

The change could cause a few bumps

I don't think they will be much worse off though. You still have Sumlin and the two new co-coordinators have been around Sumlin, Holgerson, and Gundy for their careers. Plus, these guys aren't teaching complicated play books and have a knack for calling the right play at the right time. They are teaching concepts and execution. The plays essentially call themselves based on what the defense is showing. From what I understand, it's very simple it's just a matter of execution and keeping the D on their toes and off balance.
