If Murphy has everyone I can see it being a two score win with Robbinsville losing the kids that quit. I'll be down there pulling for the knights though!
Hell of a job by Walsh , the staff and the team to get 2 playoff wins considering the injuries they've had and the players quitting.
Murphy seems like a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team. At times they look like a threat to win the west and other times they look like they could lose this round to Robbinsville
With the kids that quit and gone Murphy prob wins by 21

I’ve never understood why Murphy has so many penalties year end year out. One would think this would be addressed seeing that this could cost a close game especially against tougher opponents in playoffs.
Great to see Robbinsville keep trucking without the quitters! I bet they thought by them quitting that the team would fold. But look into the 3rd round. It looks like the usual suspects again, Robbinsville. I think that is great. Especially if the players that quit are at the games, hoping that you lose!
Murphy is going to have to play a lot better than they did Friday night to win this week, far too many penalties that not only killed offensive possessions but extended multiple Christ The King drives as well.
Got to hope #35's ankle is doing a lot better too, he was pretty hobbled after that injury Friday and as the QB of the defense they simply can not afford for him to be at far less than 100% against a quality football team.

It's a young team that at this stage lacks consistency, mainly offensively. I suppose it's to be expected when you're relying on young kids in some key spots. There were large stretches Friday where Murphy had a freshman and a sophomore in the backfield.

Hard to believe Robbinsville is here after their top 2 running backs quit and other top defensive players quit..kudos to Walsh and company.

This game makes me nervous. Murphy can look great at times and clueless at other times. They had better play better this week than last week and not be thinking Robbinsville is going to lay down just because they are missing a few players. Robbinsville doesn’t appear to have lost a beat from where I’m sitting. Tip of the cap to them for what they have been able to do.
As for the game itself, I figure Robbinsville is gonna stack the line to take away Clem and the Murphy ground game and force Grant to throw to beat them. I would hope that Murphy will be able to counter this by getting 35 more involved in the running game early, and I would not be afraid to get 29 more involved too if need be. He’s only a freshman but he’s the real deal. With him it’s just a matter of time.
As always, the team that makes the least amount of mistakes and runs the ball better and stops the run better will probably win. Murphy must play great run D and not turn the ball over or have a ton of stupid penalties and mental mistakes if they want to advance to the fourth round. Go Dogs! Let’s do this!

What’s everyone talking about the kids that quit? We have played better and more as a team since the couple of kids that quit. I look for it to be a great ball game. Go knights.

It’s amazing that most people think selfish talent is more important than teamwork and playing for something bigger than yourself. I’m also glad Robbinsville is having success after the departure of the quitters. Will help the program in the long run.
They have played just the same caliber of teams that Mt. Arrogant has played.
Irrelevant…but Swain, Thomasville, and BC. Our defense was always gonna be the heart of the team this year. Lost one starter…..allowed 7 pts in those three games.

You know exactly who we have played don’t act like you didn’t. You keep up with SMC football more than you do your own conference. Just as the saying goes. “ YOU CANT FIX STUPID” and you buzz… well you just can’t help yourself.
He said after Bears beat them he couldn't take it anymore and went up deep in to the Hills to live off the grid!
He just finished his first year at Yale. He took a redshirt but played in the allowed 4 games mostly on special teams.
What do you think the coaching staff could do differently to help reduce these penalties?
This game is hard to watch, missed penalty’s on Robbinsville and overwhelming amount on Murphy, terrible spot on a crucial call. Feel bad for this Murphy group as this game is being gifted to a bad Robbinsville group.
How many kids are gone. I see several on the field I was told had quit. Did some come back?

A bad Robbinsville group? It took a pic 6 for Murphy to win the first game. This Robbinsville team is several plays away from being a 10-2 team instead of a 500 team. Referees have nothing to do with the complete domination at the line of scrimmage in the first half by Robbinsville. 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Murphy may make some changes and win this game in the second half but this robbinsville group has battled through adversity and is up at the half of the 3rd round of the state playoffs so get out of here with that crap!
