That statement didn't age well.
You're right tuff, it didn't and I'm glad I was wrong. It was a good hard fought win for the players and staff. The successful onside kick turned the momentum and that along with some good adjustments by the staff and two really nice interceptions was enough to pull away.

Still yet I really hate #71 got hurt, he's a huge part of both lines (figuratively and literally) and given what Heritage likes to do offensively I think its big issue next Friday, assuming if he can't go.

Something tells me Robbinsville will win it all in 1A next year and the next and the next and on and on if they had so many players drop out and still made it to the third round this year. I guess BK13 will be back, with no danger iof playing a team with a heartbeat. lol, just joking hoping to draw him out.

I really try not to use refs as an excuse, but every time these teams play, Murphy always gets the short end of the stick. Really pisses me off to be honest.
You do realize that in the two games this year, Robbinsville had more than double the penalties for nearly triple the yards. Wouldn’t have mattered though. They dominated the third qtr up front tonight.

To be honest, I actually didn’t realize that. The first quarter last night started off with Murphy seemingly getting flagged about every other play, and I thought it kept Murphy from being able to get into any kind of rhythm in the first half. That’s frustrating and especially against a team like Robbinsville, which definitely doesn’t need any extra help to win. The penalties did start to go the other way more as the game went on though. I’ll say this, this season has been one of the worst I’ve ever seen for officiating. Not just against Murphy. It’s been bad across the board.

I know you don’t want to hear it tonight, but congrats on the season y’all just had. To lose everything that you lost from last year (and at the last part of this year), and to make it as far as you did is impressive and commendable. Much respect.
