he wants to be a ball handler and show outside game; even though he can apparently shoot the ball (hasnt shown lately) his most effective moments on the floor have been rebounding and putbacks. Last night was an excellent example of this. When he does hit the boards he can be really effective. His height and size along with his athleticism make him a tough offensive guy when he gets his hands on the ball that close in. He must get more aggressive in going to the bucket without the basketball once one of the other guys shoot. He has a great chance if he plays smart and hits the boards (playing smart isn't one of his best qualities either). If he does this I believe it helps our team tremendously

be as good as he thinks he is. Unfortunately he's not and I believe that as a result he is not teachable. Somebody needs to humble him so he'll be teachable.

inside game, somewhat like last night, it would really help this team. I mean for a guy that seems to think he's an outside shooter when is the last time he hit an outside shot. I know its been a while. I will give him one thing though, at least he hits his free throws. I get so sick of seeing our best shooters (RJ, Randy, Phil (at least last night), etc.) go up to the free throw line and look like they've never shot one before. I'm actually starting to thing Ravern has taken free throw lessons from Reginald Delk.

Early in the first half he played like a 6'8" guy should down low in the paint. He made some pretty aggressive and athletic put backs. Lets hope it carries over into Saturday.

is that if he scores, rebounds and is a threaton the low post, his outside shooting will open up, and the shots will probably start to fall.

He is in complete denial about what his skill set is. He's Jamont trapped in a big man's body. Too bad he can't be coached or we don't have a coach that can get it through his thick 17-ing skull that he's not a guard and should start knocking people around. What a waste of potential...

He's also one of, if not, the best free throw shooter on the team. If he would just get more aggressive and use his frame, he'd bump up his point stat line by at least 4-6 points a game of free throws alone.

worst is when we went to the lineup of kodi, phil, ravern, riley, and barry. We literally had 5 guys standing around the 3 point line like they were playing around the world or something. If we try to play man tuesday its going to be a long night.

penetrate when there is no one to dish to that can finish. I'm certainly happy about the win and still can't figure out how we did it but we are weak down low.

You really shouldn't insult Jamont like that. I sure wish we had him back.Probably the most under appreciated player we ever had.
