Regardless yall need to get off kodi. so what the guy is in a bad slump he will get out of it. i do think stans should get some plays to free him and jarvis up just to give them both more options, but the least he could do is get kodi some easier shots and give him some confidence. poor guy has no confidence right now shooting the ball. and you can tell he's frustrated every shot he shoots he hesitates about taking the shot and then he forces plays inside. the guy can play basketball theirs nothing he can't do. the guy just has no confidence at all and it doesn't help when people talk about the guy and his own crowd boo him. we have had other so called great players go into bad slumps jarvis in particular, as well as rhodes, and frazier, and austin, and roberts. and noone came down on them as hard as everyone is on kodi. let the man play basketball that's why he's playing college basketball and none of you are.

We don't. Varnado can't hit a layup, but can block shots. Did you see the basketball revenues and expenses in the SEC? Our coach is an overachiever. BIG TIME! Anything better than 10th is gravy.

But I'm sure as soon as that fat check from OEMDawg clears, you'll have a beef.

I havent noticed a bunch of sub- 6 foot PG's with limited shooting range playing in the NBA right now

every time I looked, KA was waving at his man as he (his man) was beating him on the dribble.

Like others, here, I believe KA could score more if he tried making a living off of put backs and short-range (0'-10')jumpers.

<div>you can't compare a post player's fg% to guards-period in any level of basketball - crap Erick Dampier's fg% (65%) is 15pts better than Lebron's, and it should be - he is a post player, doesn't shoot jumpers, only shoots 3 foot hooks, dunks, and layups.</div><div>
</div>our previous post players (Rhodes, Roberts, Austin, Jackson) shot in the mid 50% in conference play AND shot jump shots combined with their inside work - in the paint and around the basket, I can guarantee you that they were in the mid 60's AND they could catch the ball in traffic, AND they could muscle there way to get position to receive a pass at all! - oh yeah - they could pass out of double teams as well.<div><div>
</div><div>my point is that Jarvis is not a post threat and it is difficult to run an offense without one</div><div>
</div><div>his defense alone makes him special, and he deserves the 30+ minutes he gets, should be All SEC, and may should have his jersey hanging next to Bailey Howell's due to his accomplishments and commitment to MSU, but he is being asked to do something he is not real good at doing.</div><div>
</div><div>and if you boys want to pretend that all of a sudden Stansbury has forgotten how to coach inside-out basketball and Jarvis is right there with the four guys listed above from an offensive perspective as one of your crutches for saying that he Stans sucks, get after it, but you are flat out wrong.</div></div>

why don't you tell ya' boy Stans to develop his game. He's been here 4 years, hell the almighty should have been able to develop a 6'9 guy with a 7'4 wingspan and very good athleticism for a big guy how to play in the post. If we're not running an offense because we don't have great players, then guess what? Recruit better 17in players. We never ran an offense when J-Money and Chuck were around either. It was post-up, or Iso for JG. It worked because those were 2 very talented players. We don't have that type of talent now, and we still don't run an offense, therefore, we're just not that good. Either way, its on Stans, if its bc the players suck, then get better ones, if its the scheme, then create a damn playbook not consisting of thetop of the key pick and roll in which we just shoot the 3.

most of yesterday? We also scored the first points of overtime by going low to him.

You keep letting the guy that shoots 20% from 3 jack up 3s and I'll keep throwing it to the guy that shoots 45%. Im going to score more. There is no handicap b/c JV is a big and the other guy is a guard.

And you are totally discounting the number of times that Varnado gets to the FT line.

aGAIN, he's not Tim Duncan, but to say we have zero post offense is absurd.

low and work your *** off to help your team win by rebounding andcleaning up the garbage until your confidence and shotreturns. Kodi doesn't understand this because he doesn't understand the team first concept. Ifhe ever gets it he could help us and he could be a pretty good player, I am hoping he does.
