He's been tearing it up at A and high level A this year. Thru 67 games, his OBP is 0.412 with a staggering 0.955 OPS. 37 steals, 7 CS, with 12 dingers. Good to see a Mississippi kid do well.

Didier Fuentes just turned 20 a couple of weeks ago. He's the youngest active player right now.

Konnor Griffin is the first teenager to post a 190+ wRC+ with a K% under 17% in High-A (min. 70 PA) since former No. 1 prospect Julio Rodríguez in 2019.

The only other player to do it? Juan Soto, now the highest-paid player in sports.

He's also the only player in all of Minor League baseball hitting .300 with 10 HR and 15 doubles.

Kids going to be special. He just got selected to the MLB Futures Game during All-Star Weekend alongside Braden Montgomery.
