Yeah -- he's going to be a thorn in our side for 4 years, I'm afraid...
I know we didn't have an available scholarship by the time he really emerged as a prospect -- but I do wish we had found a way to get him to MSU.

He had 5 points. 5. First time he's scored in a game since their last game against us. Yeah, he's a player all right.

KPP is like the "30/30 guy" in HS. Comes in either if you're up by 30 or down by 30. The only reason he is getting any opportunity to even enter the game is because WE SUCK. He scored 5 points against the worst team in the SEC. Whoopty fricken doo. If he wasn't from Booneville, no one on this board would even know his name. Could he come off the bench and help us? Sure, but so could I. RR isn't a time traveler. There is room for him now, but there wasn't when it mattered.

Without playing Capt Hindsight, who would you have cut to give to make room for him? And he's not walking-on so don't give me that.

Good lord- Booker(i think) said when he checked in last night that he had played something like 70 minutes ON THE YEAR. Thats it.
His actual coach recognizes he isnt good enough to be part of the regular rotation yet.

He may end his career as a 1st team conference player, but he is not some stud right now.

I dont think anyone has said he 'sux'. Its been said many times that based on who offered him, when he was offered, how he was rated by websites, and his minuts played this season- that he wasnt some stud who was missed by Ray.

It's almost like Mark Fox treats this like Jimmie Johns/Mike Shula/QB/Sly Croom situation. He gets his minutes against State to rub it in.

This topic does give this a GP's feel. As in people touting some guy's talent because they happened to see him have a good game or two in HS.

I wonder what will happen if he transfers out because of lack of PT?

Just wait until tournament time for the hidden-gem coaches names to start flying.
