I posted this in 2A too. Most schools in the magazine are 3A/4A

Does anyone know if Kroger is going to continue to publish the Crunch magazine? I've asked at the stores and tried to find info. on the web. I haven't see it in the stores this season. I would be bummed if they didn't publish this year. Crunch has been around for 20 years!

glad you asked. the Kroger food chain is not sponsoring the pamphlet any longer. But the guy that wrote and published the crunch has gone in business for himself and is going to do it with another sponsor. this is the info I got from the good friend of the publisher!

I had a feeling Kroger wasn't sponsoring it this year. I sent Kroger a message about their choice not to sponsor Crunch. It's more than just an advertising tool for Kroger, it tradition. It's a way to celebrate young athletes around the Roanoke Valley. It was a way for Kroger to contribute to the community. I'll be looking for the new publication. I hope the publisher can get a sponsor! If the publisher doesn't already have a sponsor, he should try MKG Enterprises (McDonald's.) What a great tool to serve the community and get people in the restaurants! ;)

he sent me the little flyer they put out each week and I enjoyed reading them to keep up with those teams down there. we don't have Kroger's up here so that's the only way I could get them. I was told that the publisher was still going to do it and I will talk to his friend this week and find out where you can get them! I knew Kroger sponsored the flyer a long time and I am surprised they gave it up. soon as he tells me where to get them I will inform you!

I found out where to find the Crunch! Belacinno's (Tanglewood and Daleville). Salem Civic Center, Salem Printing, Dogwood Restaurant in Vinton, Haley Toyota, Sports Haven (Hollins area) and other locations have the Crunch magazine! The Crunch flier details the locations you can find them. It looks like Coke, Utz, and other businesses are sponsoring. (I still think McDonald's should join in!) I'm so glad sponsors have continued this community service
