Like UK football to a degree we don't win much but occasionally do cover the spread.
THIS. I was just thinking the same thing. Barnhart has to go, plain and simple. Won't do any good to fire Stoops when you have the same terrible CEO making the hires
rumor not started or repeated by a reporter or even skeezy blogger.......all started by anonymous screen names/Twitter handles

I think Matt Jones is dropping hints all over this pregame show. He said if we lost, he would be talking about a new head coach on the post game show. I think he knows. He's just letting things play themselves out.

This needs to be addressed and it should be squashed immediately if there's no evidence to the rumor.
I agree 100% KIR74. I don't know if these rumors are true or not, but there is definitely something going on. I think we would have gotten the vote of confidence from someone if all was good.
If these rumors are true, my heart goes out to the Stoops family. Not pleased with where our program is under his direction. But I hope he and his wife are able to work things out and save their marriage. Wouldn't wish this kind of trouble on anyone. IMO we should not be happy about it being true. Pray for his wife and kids, if it is.
Or do what Hillary did and open a foundation and make billions.

As has been addressed above, this was the UK pre/post game show, not his own radio show or one of his podcasts. If UK says hush, you hush... or they take your bball away, and he does not want that and neither do his fans. Be pissed at Matt for towing company line, but be pissed at every UK website and fan page while you're at it for doing the exact same thing.

But Matt has a website that lures clicks for being all things UK. If you state your the voice of all things U.K. and you're cashing in on the power of BBN then post on it on your site if you are a puppet on U.K. networks. What a wimp.
He would be a complete fool to risk his relationship with U.K. The smart man keeps his mouth shut so people don't think he's stupid. The foolish man opens his mouth and removes all doubt.
You know, there exists the possibility that no one at KSR knows the actual truth and, therefore, KSR doesn't want to risk its reputation by perpetuating or squashing rumors which they cannot verify or discredit.

Nobody is going to come out and say 'all of these rumors aren't true' if they aren't true. You can't get into addressing coaching rumors coming and going, especially those of a personal nature. The most positive statement that could happen is at some point coming out and saying 'he's our coach til at least the end of the year when we evaluate like always'. But that's not going to happen unless Mitch is asked something about his future.
I'd be a wimp too if it meant keeping my job and access to the top basketball program in the country.
I don't think the rumors about him cheating on his wife are true. Hopefully the team is focused and come ready to play tonight. UK needs this win in the worst way.
