Kentucky better take it up a notch or four if they're planning on making a real run at the NC. A depleted Tennessee team played them point for point until the final minutes, and an undermanned MSU team had their *** whipped. Unless they crank it up for March Madness, the KY team I've seen recently aint gonna make a run.Wouldn't be surprised ifVandy beats them in Nashville.

1. They struggle against a zone.

2. They are susceptible to getting broken down off the dribble-- See Bost and Downey. When it was Downey doing it, you just chalked it up to it being Downey, but Bost handled them pretty well last night.

It will also be interesting to see how the game is called in Nashville b/c Ogilvy gets a call every time he touches the ball.

I would love to see Aldrich and Cousins go at it in a Kansas/KY matchup.

He does struggle against the zone. I thought we did apretty goodjob against him defensively. Not great, but his numbers would've been low but for some transition buckets and some free throws.

I was impressed with Cousins's passing out of the double team. He kept the ball high, turned, and found the wide open man often. Aldrich/Cousins and Ogilvy/Cousins will be good matchups.

KY is young and talented. They've only lost one game. They learn every game. They've only lost one game. They've only lost one game. Every team gives KY their best shot and they've only lost one game.

....and posted it on the board earlier.

UK is only #2 because they get to play in the SEC. If they had to play Kansas, Texas, KState, Missouri, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State 8-10 times, they would have a few more losses. If they had to play Cuse, Nova, WVU, Pitt, Georgetown and Louisville 8-10 times, they would have a few more losses. Kentucky has squeaked past Big East mid pack teams Louisville and
UConn. They beat ACC bottom feeder UNC (before the UNC injuries, but
they were still not very good). They beat PAC 10 bottom feeder Stanford.

Kentucky's five toughest league games this year will be: at Vandy, at UT, at MSU, Vandy, UT. I guess you have to put South Carolina on that list since they lost that one. But Auburn played them down to the final minute at Auburn. UM gave them a decent game at Rupp. They tried to blow Bama out but couldn't. Kentucky is racking up wins over mediocre teams like us. End of story. I can't wait to see them get bounced in March, and then see Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe and Patterson go pro. Hellllooooo APR!!

Please America, please watch UK run the table or maybe have one more regular season loss, and please watch them blow everyone out in the SEC tournament, and then PLEASE pick UK to the Final Four in all the bracket games that you enter. That way when I take them out in the Elite Eight or possibly the Sweet 16, I will be getting the points that you are not getting.
