The probability of 3 lesbians being the most qualified people in LA County? Lol
DEI is a fraud and contributes to these fires not being put out in a timely manner.
If it makes me a bad person for calling a spade a spade then so be it. That is what I am here for.
Personally, I’m curious to see how much blame gets thrown on LADWP. Especially since BuzzCut Bass and the California Democratic machine approved Quinones (a PG&E cast off) and her ridiculously inflated salary. Can’t help but wonder why her predecessor (Marty) was paid so much less. If you don’t think Newsom had his hands in that hire, you don’t know what I do about her connection to the Puerto Rico grid rebuild and the electric utility consultancy that was whispering in Newsom’s ear from as far back as 2020.
I’m not a conspiracy guy. When I post about CA or Los Angeles issues, it’s typically about things I know first-hand because it’s either in my technical /experience wheelhouse or I’ve attended under-the-radar meetings at private places like the Long Beach Yacht Club, where business can be conducted away from prying eyes. During my career, I was very fortunate to have been involved in meetings that were far, far above my pay grade. Heard/saw some very interesting things that, absent what I’d seen, I’d have naively thought were just coincidence. Naw, not coincidence. I’ve pulled back the layers on some of the things I saw take place over the last decade and came to the realization “Oh, THAT’S why that happened.”
Since I know the Coastal Commission very well, I’m wondering if Adam Corolla (above) is referring to a specific staff person (“….28 year old b…”) or Commissioner at the CCC.
He’s not correct BTW. Those with influence will get their Coastal Development Permits to rebuild in Malibu. Just like The Edge got his (he sat right in front of me) for the houses he built up on the hillside above Malibu after being initially denied. Strange how that approval & commission vote came during a CCC meeting so far away and poorly attended way up by the Oregon border, eh? Probably just coincidence…
