of the tourney wins come on your home court on in the college's hometown.

I can't believe (well, maybe I can) the NCAA still allows teams to play tournament games on their home court .

the women's game wouldn't draw any fans for the early rounds if they were at a neutral site...no one would travel.

And if you believe for one second that North Carolina's games in Greensboro, NC 45 minutes away from their campus this weekend aren't de facto home games, then I have a big bridge in New York City you might be interested in purchasing.

We're in the Berkeley REGION, which the first poster admittedly did a poor job of describing. I also like how you attempted to spell Berkeley twice and whiffed both times.

a 30 minute ride to the other side of the Research Triangle, it's basically the NCAA rubber-stamping (those 2 schools) a pass directly to the Sweet 16. As many have noted, UNC and Duke in the Sweet 16 and beyond means more money for the Indianapolis gang. It also means that Packer, Vitale, and some of the others won't be exposed as knowing little or nothing about the rest of the college basketball landscape.
