Lake Caroline Golf Course to re-open...

A friend of mine was on the home owners association board and they were pushing for it. I was out that way about a month ago and it was in really bad shape from what I could tell. Was there any word on long it will take to get it back in shape?

but from the way it looks, i'd say that is VERY optimistic.

every time i hear randy watkins's name, i can't help but think of this guy. even though he is a watson, not a watkins.

The other group that was bidding, had they won, would have created a competing interest in Madison for the golfing dollar. Thus, pulling a lot of members away from Whisper Lake. With Randy owning both Whisper Lake and Caroline, he has monopolized the market for the average golfer and can run both as he see fit, which if anything like Whisper Lake the last couple of years, isn't the best case scenario. IMO</p>

i don't know how many members they have, but i've heard that a junior membership there is pretty reasonable, especially for such a nice course. </p>
