Is that like the Thorpe watch list?I'm not ready to say he has problems like LP, but I'm def putting Lamar on the Prima Donna watch list.
Or is it like putting a Motley Crue fan on a douche watch list?

I'm def putting Lamar on the Prima Donna watch list.
Seriously, I have heard some absolutely dumb stuff on here before, but the idea that wearing #1 automatically makes you a prima donna has got to be one of the most outrageously, dumb idiotic craptastic things I have ever heard. Somebody has to wear #1. Or I suppose we just eliminate #1 because we all know that the only reason why anybody wears it is because they are a prima donna?I guess Westerkamp was a prima donna too. You know, since all #1s are prima donnas.
Now you've gone from irresponsible to idiotic. What evidence do you have that he is a Prima Donna? Besides the number he wears, that is... that goes without saying. What else do you got?I'm not ready to say he has problems like LP, but I'm def putting Lamar on the Prima Donna watch list.
Please try to contain your verbal insults. Normally, an intelligent poster as yourself, will bring value in the form of ideas and discussion without delving into the mud, because as you know, people only do that when they don't have anything else left to bring to the discussion. Now you've gone from irresponsible to idiotic. you do realize that I wasnt the one making the statement that all #1s were Prima Donnas right?Seriously, I have heard some absolutely dumb stuff on here before, but the idea that wearing #1 automatically makes you a prima donna has got to be one of the most outrageously, dumb idiotic craptastic things I have ever heard. I already told you my evidence.. AND I said watch list. This implies that I have not yet put that label on him, but am starting to see some evidence.
Now some of you can point to Westy, which is fine, but I don't see him saying things like: "Now I’m taking more reps and I feel like I belong, so I plan on staying.”
Maybe Lamar isn't a Prima Donna.. but it's reasonable to see those things and at least wonder about it.
The 'I plan on staying' context still seems like it's about staying with the program, not with the 1st group, because a person would not be saying such a strong statement in regard to second string vs first string. Look at the opposite of his words for a moment.. I'm taking less reps, and I don't belong.. if a guy was feeling that way, don't you think that is more in regard to how he feels about the program vs 1-2nd string? Maybe it would make more sense if he was 3rd or 4th string, but I don't think it supports the notion of second string at all.
Please feel free to actually discuss and bring something to the table rather than childish insults, because I know you are actually capable of being above that.
But it's already been determined that Jackson hoorahed the coaching staff into moving Kalu to safety by threatening to leave the program. Why would you want to muddy up juicy gossip like that by watching the actual interview?Again find the video, I can't post it because it belongs to a Pay site. When watching the full 4 minute interview, there was zero indication that he was considering leaving the program. None at all. The paragraph worth of quotes the OWH chose to print, were not in sequence.

To your point about the verbal insults, you are right and I do apologize. I get carried away way to easily on this board unnecessarily. Please try to contain your verbal insults. Yes-I was just expanding on your comment.you do realize that I wasnt the one making the statement that all #1s were Prima Donnas right?
Actually, according to Elliot, they like him at safety if he can in fact make the switch. He has skills that would allow for covering the slot and it would allow for less use of the nickel package. What doesn't make sense to me is to move a guy who has started 30+ games at corner to safety if this will weaken our team (because he should be playing corner).
And that's kind of my point as well. This move had less to do with appeasing Lamar and more to do with making us better overall. Thanks!Actually, according to Elliot, they like him at safety if he can in fact make the switch. But from reading interviews with Diaco and Elliot, this has more to do with getting Lamar on the field. Diaco likes the fact that he is a big athlete that moves like a smaller one.

Somebody likes to hype drama...... Maybe try one of the "housewives" shows? In his comments to the Omaha paper. He said he had trouble accepting his roll, last year... And now that Kalu is at safety he plans on staying. Dealing with highly publicized kids is a bit harder than the home spun kids! Any thoughts about how this attitude might play with the rest of the team????
I can see where you could take the last part as him meaning not transferring, but I dont think he was ever seriously considering it. He was probably a little overwhelmed at first. And now that he is running with the 1s, he plans on staying (at the top of the depth chart)
Your interpretive skills need help. Thanks for making my point even further. It reads as though you believe the 30 starts at corner are irrelevant and moving Kalu to safety actually makes the team even less experienced than I stated.
