When was the last time we actually lost a recruit to IU? I’m thinking it was Blackmon, but I’m pretty sure we had already gotten a commitment from another 2G so not sure if that counts. Before that I can’t even remember.

I wouldn't say we lost Blackmon to IU. We took Devin Booker's commitment and he went elsewhere. Booker and Blackmon both committed on Halloween day 2013.
It's difficult to remember how hard we recruiting some of these guys, but I remember we looked at the following recruits that eventually landed at IU.

Reminds me of back in high school, the two best players on the girls team were twins. One was a point guard that didn't score as much and the other one was a big time scorer. Anyway, the big time score got in foul trouble in the first half with four fouls. At halftime they switched jerseys.
I would guess without even seeing DD coach very many games that his approach and style will be way better than Woodson and that in itself is a win.
