I have no clue, the auburn visit makes me nervous. But the James Madison guy you all are trying to get would be a good get as well

I don't understand how anyone can listen to Bruce Pearl for more than 20 seconds and not come away thinking his pitch is forced.
His pre game speeches to his team are so cringe. I feel like he's eventually going to get desperate enough to bring out thee ole "LET'S WIN THIS ONE FOR THE GIPPER" speech.

There was something about a high school player and I seem to remember he got sued.

He was supposed to make a public apology.

I don’t remember the details.

But he was pretty much ostracized from most of his supporters he had left.

The more I think about it I’m remembering a little more.

It wasn’t one player. It was a whole school system. They fired a coach that was apparently a buddy of his and he threatened publicly to go down there and kick everyone’s ***. Encouraged his listeners to vandalize the town of Scottsburg In.

Just crazy stuff.

Two of our best portal gets over the years weren’t even in the portal at this time.

If he’s dumb enough to go there over half a million dollars then so be it.

I’d be willing to bet a finger there will be a better player at the position than he enter the portal between now and its closure.

That could not be further from the truth.

Programs and coaches put spin out all the time to their close media people. Look at what Cal does with Seth Greenberg. Pretending that coaching staffs don't spin negativity into their favor is being incredibly naive.

Just not true in the slightest.

They seriously thought they'd be a major player no matter what coach they got because they were able to get the group they did last year with NIL money and assumed that was what got players in but failed to account that a black head coach with NBA experience was the major factor in getting Mgbako and Ballo, Rice etc. Devries is going to have to win by scrapping and fighting with lesser players before the NIL will help lure in big time players

We had the wake up call last couple of years. NIL is a tool but if you just throw it out there for players that don’t fit what’s the point? Look at Louisville and Michigan roster last year. Not one blue chip guy.

Crazy to believe shooting guard is our issue with the offense he runs.
