I want to add that the McDonald’s all American practice has yesterday so they’re should be a lot of talk. Watching now on YouTube and we could sure use a couple these guys.

Lance Dawe is a good guy who happens to often speak in vagaries and hopeful conjecture. He’s also never been connected in any way before to be able to break any news like that. He’s just an upbeat smalltime podcaster.

I listened to it at work a few hours ago & he didn't say Stokes is ours, he said the longer it drags out he likes our chances. Personally I find it odd that he keeps pushing his commitment back, everyone keeps guessing it's waiting for the "Rug Doctor" to decide on retirement, he's already said he never said he was retiring so what could Stokes be waiting on? To see who all Kentucky signs if he chooses them possibly? Who knows at this point.
I think it's best to just assume we won't get Stokes. No offense to Lance but he has no sources. Everything that has been said by anyone in the know, makes it sound like Stokes greatly prefers Kansas.

I can’t stand his podcast. Nothing personal against him exactly, but it’s so hard for me to listen to it. I find him completely out of touch and seems fake to me. Like he became a fan because he was assigned Kentucky for the podcast.
Lance's show is fine but it definitely does not seem to have an inside track on info. Also sounds like OP needs to work on listening comprehension and not overreacting to everything they think they hear.

Anybody actually believe Pope has built a better relationship with Stokes than Self has?

I think the biggest thing as to why he's closer to Self is this, later on down the road if he ever goes bald, Self has promised to take him to the "Rug Doctor" headquarters for a free consultation.
I was being serious my man. You know this stuff better and have watched more ball than almost anybody on here. At least that's my impression. It was in no way meant to be a dig at you man. It was supposed to be a compliment.
He does kinda come off that way sometimes. However, I’ve heard him REALLY FIRED up after a good win or a loss in which officiating was the direct cause. He seems pretty passionate about UK Basketball sometimes. I think it might just be his personality.

He does Locked on UK, right? I posted about this last season. I started noticing that so many of their videos said "Player X to UK?" A bunch of them. Not a single one of those players came to UK. Not one. And none of the players we did get had videos with that title. So, I'm skeptical to say the least.
