Langsdorf on 3rd down

Why does Langsdorf treat every 3rd down like it's 3rd and long with the game on the line? Why not sustain a drive by running the ball... instead of giving it back to the opponent with a minute left on the clock?

This is becoming a pattern and is going to help lead to losses.

I believe the 3rd downs were fairly successful today (better than recently at least). But I still say if Lee is gonna be QB, they need to SEVERELY limit the chances he takes more than 15 yards down the field. He is much better on the short timing and controlled routes.

Is it Langs or Lee? We all heard about how Lee went through his progressions and would throw to his checkdowns, but during games he doesn't seem to do that at all. Maybe Tommy's YOLO attitude wore off on him? And then he channeled his inner T. Mart throwing off his back foot.

It honestly seems like no qb at nebraska has ever went through progressions, at least in game. Feels like since the beginning of time, every other team does..

I want to believe that is on Langsdorf. When you have multiple QB's with the same issue... starts to feel like a pattern.

Well, Tommy pretty much admitted he ignored the coaches, that's on him. But there are times when you can see Tanner going through his progressions, but then the next play he just throws it up for grabs. It's very weird. I think the O-line really messed with his head.

Based on what we have seen so far this year maybe TA was right to ignore the coaches
