what the 17 are they doing there to garner this attention....seriously NCAA needs to take a closer look at this.....How can a team go from the bottom feeders of the SEC to getting highly sought after 5 star attention in one 17'n year??
So Banks being good attracts 5* recruits, but Moncrief being good doesn't. Got it. It seems players enjoy a really fast paced offense where you run a ton of plays so everyone gets some stats. Who knew.

And Boise plays in the SEC as well? This must be EXACTLY why Boise State and the likes get some many good players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lolz
And how many National awards has Moncrief won?
Yes, Moncrief is very good but your analogy has a big hole in it. Not that your weakness in this area should be a surprise to anyone.
So, you have to win National awards as a sophomore to be a good player?
Conspiracy theory, much?
Treadwell's recruitment is pretty intertwined with Robert Nkemdiche's - He's said many times that he would like to play with him.
If anything, we should blame ourselves(and the rest of the SEC) for not recruiting his SEC and Freshman All-American older brother Denzel. Denzel - and thus Robert - is the lynch pin in their class. Get Robert and it's likely they get Treadwell and Daniel as well.
ETA: I see a similar situation with Mackero - and thus MacKensie - Alexander. Mackero(3* with decent offers) is going to be a stud, he just has the IT factor, but he's not highly recruited like MacKenzie. Us/OM have been recruiting them both, while most other places don't have room left for both of them. Let's hope we've learned from our past mistakes...
Our "in" with Treadwell has never been Robert Nkemdiche. Ever. It is Anthony Standifer, a freshman CB who played sparingly this year before being injured. They are former HS teammates and close friends.
Treadwell's friendship with Nkemdiche probably helps, but I doubt it would change anything about his interest in Ole Miss to this point.
