Last weekend a lot of us blasted the handling of the PA system at the baseball game. Tonight....
it was MUCH better! No second and a half snippets of rap music. No walk-up music so loud I could hear it from my house 2 miles away (actually I didn't even notice the walk-up music until about the 4th inning and there are speakers about 50 feet from my spot in the lounge). No stupid *** sound effects after every pitch or every out. No stammering and stuttering when making announcements over the PA.
So, to the press box crew: WELL DONE!!!
One other thing for anyone listening on radio, postgame did Cohen say that in the 9th Stratton told him "I'm going to finish this sucker!" or "I'm going to finish this 17er!"? It sure sounded like Cohen said "17er". I almost ran off the road laughing.
