Wisconsin is probably going to win out in a terrible Big Ten, even without their PG Jackson.
A 2 loss Wisconsin, who lost to Duke, and lost its other game without Kaminsky and Jackson for the 2nd half is NOT going to not get a 1 seed.
People are overreacting in January. Look to the future, look at the schedules...give me a break.

There are only 3 seats at the table,a couple of teams are going to be left out and in a world of hurt.
I see UK, Arizona, Gonzaga, and Wisconsin being the #1 seeds. I think UVA will have at least 3 losses by tournament time.
Wisconsin might not lose again.
#2 seeds will be Villanova, Virginia, Kansas, Notre Dame.
#3 seeds will be Duke, Utah, VCU, and UNC

Seeds 2 through 4 will be clogged with ACC teams, really don't see anyone from there getting a 1, although Virginia obviously has the best shot at it, but I think they will take multiple losses before it's over.

We need Duke and Wisconsin to get 1 seeds. Virginia is a lock along with us. Those 3 teams are the only one's
that can beat us, don't think they would, but they have the best chance IMO. I don't wanna have to face Duke or Wisconsin
in the Elite 8. I wanna easier opponent with a Final 4 berth on the line. Somebody like a Villanova, Notre Dame, Kansas,
or Iowa St. I think those teams would be double digit victories for us. So go Duke and Wisconsin the rest of the way, and we'll
be waiting for them in the Final 4, if they are fortunate enough to get there that is.

Duke won't get worse than a 2 seed short of losing 10 games. If Duke gets a 2 seed, I guarantee they will be in UK bracket. The thing that cracks me up is the fear of Wisconsin. Yes, they played UK down to the wire in the Final Four but I think UK is much better than last year and I don't see Wisconsin as really improved.
Bracketology at this time of the year is crazy anyway. Too many games left and too many conference tourneys left to play. Besides, Lunardi is awful about where the teams are going. He's great at who's in and who's out.

Wisconsin seems to be in better position than any ACC team and there are only 4 spots available
I don't see how a team that has really no good wins should get a 1 seed just because they have 1 loss...especially if Arizona wins out like you say (Which I doubt). They will want to put one as the one seed out west and the other as the two out west for geographical purposes. I see no way in hell both are 1 seeds, just IMO. In order for a cupcake mid-major to get a one seed, it has to be a down year for the power 5 teams. That is not really happening this season, so Gonzaga is still going to need a lot of help.
I agree with the other posters that whichever of the three of UVA, Duke and Wisconsin that does not get a one seed will 100% be in UK's bracket. So theoretically UK could have to be Duke, then Wisconsin and then UVA to win out all. That said, I do not see UVA making it to the Final Four anyways, but having one of those as our 2 seed makes that run a possibility. It is what it is. UK cannot control Duke losing to crappy teams like NC ST and mediocre Miami. The two teams I do not want in UK's bracket are Wisconsin and Duke. In a perfect world, they would have both been 1 seeds on the other side, but injuries for Wisconsin, and Duke not playing D/perhaps being overrated have changed that once and for all.
Neither scare me, but I respect both very much for their talent and coaching. I do not share that same respect for UVA on their talent and to a lesser extent their coaching. Bennett still has to show me something (Feinstein says it "works" the way UK does it and the way UVA does...what has UVA won? I must have missed it while admiring our 2012 title, 2011 Final Four, 2014 national runner up, etc).
I believe all these posts are wrong so far. Whether Duke is a 2 or 3 seed, the NCAA will place them in the Gonzaga division figuring that the Zags as number one are over-rated anyway and this will make Duke a better chance of getting to a Final Four.
The #1 seeds are really still up in the air at this point(as they should be) you can't totally discount KU as a 1.If Duke gives the selection committee any opening at all they will be a one,but I don't see that happening.I think UVA holds form.

That's what I'm thinking. If we're the #1 overall seed we should get the weakest of the 2's right? We won't, but as other's have said I'm not so sure Wisconsin won't end up being a #1. In the end I believe we're the best team and it shouldn't matter who we have to play.

Sometimes power conference teams separate themselves, and you're looking at nothing but sterling records for the 1 seeds, but more often than not, it's a war of attrition for the 3rd and/or 4th one seed. So Duke and Kansas are hardly eliminated, and Wisconsin certainly doesn't have to win out to get a 1.
UK is a near mortal lock, and whoever the best ACC team is at the end of the regular season is likely to get another, unless every single team in the conference manages to lose more than 5 games. Other than that, who knows? It still has way too long to play out.

We need to pull for a Gonzaga loss. Their weak *** schedule could put us in a situation of getting a 2 seed that really should be a 1 seed in Wisconsin.
