50% of the Big 12 in the Top 20 - I am impressed. And the team we beat in the Tournament last year is ranked #1 (Maryland).
We get doubled up by Kentucky on national TV in one of the most hyped games of all time.
then we wave goodbye to all BXII PG & leading scorer Juwan Staten. bid farewell to senior leader Gary Browne too.
To still be pegged No. 20, hell yes I'll take it.

Even though projections from two separate sources, as for the prehistorically early 8 seed prediction, that doesn't compute with No. 20.
Last year WV entered the NCAAs ranked No. 20, which earned the 4th No. 5 seed.
I certainly believe WV is NCAA bound again, but the schedule clearly is going to be challenging. According to the linked list
4 Virginia
5 Kansas
7 Iowa State
8 Okla
17 Bay
Can pretty much bank on each of those BXII teams to be ranked for both meetings. Then there's also the possible date with 12 Cal.
I think 20-25 is accurate & fair to begin the year, but I'd not be surprised if they started just on the outside, but receiving votes.
Come out of November at 6-0 & guaranteed to crack the rankings.
