According to two people, Barchi walked to his seating section with his wife and interacted with no one. Barchi provided no hints that he's preparing to act as a vocal majority of the fan base expressed their frustrations by booing Flood throughout the 46-41 loss to Maryland.

A donor whose name is on the list of Rutgers football scholarship endowers told NJ Advance Media that the buzz coming out of Barchi's private party was that Rutgers had secured all of the money commitments needed to fire Flood and athletics director Julie Hermann, who also is fighting for her job after being summoned to meet with Barchi this weekend.

The talk in the Audi Club, according to two high-end boosters, was that Barchi had been given the go-ahead from legal counsel to clean house, and there were no monetary issues preventing the university's administration from making sweeping changes.

According to Instagram, Flood ain't going anywhere. They may be, however, hanging Herman out to dry.

I doubt Laviano's Instagram post is the definitive statement on Flood's tenure....if that's what ru75 was referring to?
