And a 1, and a 1, and a 1, and a 2. Strike up the band? Maybe.

If 1 Michigan beats 11 UCLA, which is not a given in this year's Mad, Mad, March Madness World, there will be THREE 1 seeds and ONE 2 seed in the Final Four. Cinderella will be bawling her eyes out.

Wolverines and UCLA going at it hammer and tong right now. Stay tuned.

Dickinson blocks driving lanes....

It hurts their team against teams who can score

You're right about it last night. I have no idea what they were trying to accomplish. I bet they kept Dickinson posted up on the low block for like 80% of the possessions. Went to the same well over and over again, and each time someone attempted to drive to the basket, it was clogged due to Dickinson drawing in two big defenders.

Bottom line, Wagner was a no-show on both ends of the court tonight. Played like he was tired, and wanted to be in bed at 10:00 o'clock instead of playing basketball. Chauncey Brown was the only player that seemed to have energy tonight, and I was surprised they didn't go to him late in the game. Instead, they went to Wagner. Kind of surprising on the last shot, considering he tossed up an air ball on a previous possession that came up 2-3 feet short from the top of the key.

Now, you sit back, and wait and see what your rosters will look like next year, with transfers and all.

They actually went after Wagner on the defensive end.

He wasn't creating enough on offense to be on the court IMO.

But with a guy sitting on the post like that it clogs the lanes.

I don't understand why they don't use Dickinson more on the perimeter

I saw them do that a few times. But didn't create anything out of it. Believe he actually was called for a moving screen one of the times.

Nobody was moving. UCLA did a good job defending all around, particularly on the perimeter, but Michigan simply didn't move the ball around for open shots, like they typically do. Credit UCLA for taking them out of their rhythm.

Because they didn't throw numbers to double the post.

When Michigan looks very good. Dickinson gets the ball. They double list. He throws it back out to the perimeter and they swing it to the open shooter.
