Maybe you could run a dead guy for prez. I'm sure that lots of Republicans would vote for a corpse.

You need some new cliches, freshen up your tired act.Two Dems were in that video, FDR and JFK. JFK would not recognize the Dem party today. Americans crave strong leadership and all we have is leading from behind.

wvpatx fits the profile of a frustrated, white, lower-middle class, uneducated wingnut who is pissed at the world because he's having trouble getting by. Instead of blaming himself and his poor decisions, he blames liberals and democrats and the media. People like him are why rush limbaugh still has a show. It is truly amazing how much time patx spends here. Sad really. What he needs is a hobby or 70. It hard to believe someone would waste this much time and energy on politics even in times when it maybe, might, possibly matter, much less when it's clearly pointless.
The problem is, it sucks up all the energy on the board. Most threads are political and even the ones that aren't have the potential to turn political because it's such a political atmosphere here that after awhile people reflexively view things through the lens of politics and respond accordingly. I wish there was a politics OT board and a non-politics OT board.

Speaking of "feeling your pain", another Clinton is about a year from occupying the White House. I look forward to years of your insightful posting. [banana]:cool2:Maybe you can establish an eye glass fitter board and invite Moe and Opie to post. You can discuss all the great things Obama has done for the country, while symbolically holding hands and reciting hope and change. Tough being a lib these days. I feel your pain.

Demonstrating your delusional mind once again. As my dad used to say, you can wish in one hand and **** in the other and see which hand gets filled first. Can you serve as President from prison?
People are tired of a president who's been in office for nearly 8 years?! That's surely never happened before. I heard that there's an election coming soon though.Even MSNBC is lamenting Obama's failed leadership. Most libs are slowly coming around to the disaster that is Obama, but not the board's libs.

And Dems actually did vote for someone who was anti US.Maybe you could run a dead guy for prez. I'm sure that lots of Republicans would vote for a corpse.
This comment is indicative of the problem we have in politics today. It's not enough to disagree with someone's policies - they have to be evil or anti-American. Your statement is asinine. If Obama were not in politics, you would look at his story and place it as a model for how someone could find a large amount of success in life coming from a single parent home. People are saying that about Ben Carson right now. I don't get the hate - from either side mind you. It's not productive. It's wasted emotion, and it makes people disregard logical arguments put before them only because of the person presenting the argument. If we don't get past this sort of thinking, we're not going to make it as a nation. Political policies won't end us, but our own hate for certain subsets of our fellow Americans will. And Dems actually did vote for someone who was anti US.
