Heck, my own Mom doesn't "like the way Cohen coaches" because he yells when the players are "doing the best they can." And I know you didn't miss my post about the guy e-mailing Cohen. Not only that, but if I say that a MSU player is "not that good", I run the risk of getting whacked by this old woman at football games.

Not once, especially to my Mom, have I told them to <17> off, though. I think you are BS-ing that. But whatever. I do feel like it sometimes though.

I think the biggest problem with MSU is the fanbase. Do you think LSU would have put up with Polk's BS for years? Heck Bertman, FIRED his successor. Very few of us demand excellence and so what we have gotten is mediocrity.

Oh, and prayers sent.

Coach34, you have got ease up on people. If you just explained to this idiot (which from the sounds of it he is an idiot) why you think they should have been ousted he would probably understand.

I've had several patients/family get upset with me because they didn't get their pain meds on time. You know why? Because I was down the hall attending to a patient having chest pains. What the hell am I supposed to do? Drop attempting to possibly save a life so I can give someone their opiate fix?

1. People refusing to acknowledge the great things Jackie did positively for our football program (Meo for example)
2. People saying Crooms just needed more time and shouldnt have been fired
3. People thinking Stansbury does no wrong (Meo for example)

Cowpower thinks Stansbury can do no wrong. I just think people get tired of you finding ridiculous **** to ***** about Stansbury - even in jest.

And like I have told you before, I pretty much agree that Stansbury can be frustrating as **** as a coach.

I was so hyped about the little one's being born, I might have agreed a crowned Croom and Lar the greatest ever and told them to have a great day.

who is a state grad and said she didn't think Crxxm was given enough time and she didn't think the university "supported him" whatever the hell that means. I didn't cuss her out though. What good would that do? I just simply said that I thought he was given enough time and that I just thought he was just in over his head which I was afraid of from day one. We then both agreed we were optimistic about the new coach and hoped things got better.

I guess I could have put her in her place and called her a few names and, hell, maybe even made her cry. I guess I could have been Peaches-cool. But then again I'm not one of those that prides myself on hating half the fans and alumni of my school.

OK, so I am at the hospital this morning... just doing my job... and this guy with a State shirt is sitting there, so I say Hello to him and ask him how he's doing, and he says hello back to me and ask me how I am doing, and I am a bit hungry, so I tell him that I am a bit hungry, and I tell him that I would like a steak... just a simple one... with some shrooms...and I tell him that I don't like my steak over done, and how when they bring you a simple one and the shrooms are burned that it's a bad sign, and he cuts me off and starts yelling at me and cursing me, and he just walks off.

Maybe he was a vegetarian or something. Maybe he just didn't like talking about steak so early in the morning. Maybe I will just talk about veggie omlets before 7 from now on.

Yes, I run into dubmass people all the time that still think Croom is a great coach, a few of them are kin to me. For the life of me a just don't understand how in the hell they think that the guy was a good coach. He was probably the worst coach M-State has ever had.

that thinks that Croom was a great coach. I think there was a lot of hope when he was hired, but it just didn't work out. That happens sometimes. It would have been nice for all involved if it had worked out, but it just didn't.

The only good thing he did was bring us good publicity, but that's about it. (Just keeping it correct, like Ralphie May) Which, to be honest our football program needed some good publicity at the time.

The thing about Mullen is, and I find this odd, is that a lot of MSU fans seem more skeptical about Dan than they did about Croom, yet from what I have seen Mullen seems like he knows what he is doing, or has at least an organized plan for what he wants to do. Mullen may very well fail to, but at this point I don't see any reason to be anything but optomistic.

While I consider Croom a failure, I still can't say that he was worse than Shira or Felker.

Coach,

No smart *** remarks, no b.s., just congratulations. I sincerely hope all is well with your wife and new baby. And I hope you've been sleeping until now 'cause you won't be doing it now!

this story?

The people that ACTUALLY say that to strangers are not the ones running onto the internet to brag about it.

I get the feeling you sat there, smiled, and said "Excuse me" and walked away

I like Fuentes.

The best thing about babies is cigars. Babies get on my nerves, but I love cigars.

Everybody have a bunch of babies and send me cigars.

Thanks.

Have you tried the Fuente Hemingway Short Story? A great 30 minute smoke. Wouldn't be ideal for a night out on the balcony at Stony Lonesome, but perfect for a ball game or fishing.
