I don't mind 7 spread over almost 12 weeks but 4 in a row beginning in late August/early September is just idiotic and its not the first time. Thanks SEC!

I don't hate this but i can assure you the gnashing of teeth and chapped bloody vaginas would be unbearable if we only had 6 home games.

I actually would be fine with 6 if it was paired with a neutral site game raising money for NIL, but Peeper is right that mostly we could fix attendance with reasonable scheduling. I know we have to accommodate TV, but just a little effort to space out home games and just some nod towards parity as far as who gets screwed with the 11am games would go a long way.

7 home games spread over 13 weeks with no more than 2 home games in a row would I think fix most of it. Well, that combined with not completely sucking. Having more than two OOC games start after 3:15 would also help, but I don't know if it'd even be necessary. While night games are more fun, I suspect with our lack of hotels, having a 3:15 game increase the number of fans we have driving in without spending the night.

Good on Lebby and players!

By the way, 7 home games is too many for State fans. In the future, the AD needs to consider saving some cash, on games like Alcorn or NIU, and have a neutral site game for alumni in Dallas or Houston or Atlanta.

Or sell a game to a sec school, atm for example in Dallas to bank some cash on salaries and nil.
You really want us to go back to the days of Larry Templeton and start selling home games? I’ve heard it all now.

Probably the same number as you, which is beside the point. I’m talking about the athletic dept. trying to put unsold tickets into the hands of younger fans and potential future students.
Its not really beside the point. If you think its such a good idea, call the AD and work out a deal and get them in the hands of the right people.

Its a win/win/win. AD wins. Kids win. You win.

Agree. And what venue in one of those cities is going to spend the resources to host Mississippi State vs Alcorn? We couldn’t even fill the Georgia State stadium with that weak *** matchup.

But we have no control over conference scheduling. That affects the rest of the schedule.

and judging by the past two years, we won’t get any concessions from the SEC office.
