Lebby is incompetent shapen is stupid

I don't get the Shapen hate....Well, yeah I guess I do. He's a SEC QB and it comes with the territory. Anyway I seem to remember Shapen being a serviceable QB at one time, and I think he still can be. I just think he's regressing because he's not getting the coaching and motivation he needs. He's not being put in situations to win because the coaches don't have a damn clue how to manage what he can and can't do well.
I’m not a Shapen fan because his play during SEC play has not been good…. But last night, he was great. He’s definitely not clutch though. That drop he had late in the game was unfortunate but he probably played his best game at state last night.
I'm not a huge fan of Shapen but he's the best we got. Unfortunately he has a meathead of a coach that has no idea how or when to help him. He's just a product of his environment.
That’s probably true and unfortunately is another indictment against lebby. Arguably the offense didn’t drop off any last year when we had to turn to a true freshman, that told me all I needed to know about Shapen. Lebby should have made it a priority to find a better QB. Shapen may be the best we got but he ain’t good enough.
