Agreed. I was very skeptical of Lebby all along, but was willing to reconsider after the Arizona State win, but I'm back to where I was before that game.

Hell… I’d go so far as to say CROOM is a better coach at this point. At least he managed to win against SEC competition.

Wrong! There are going to be some 7-5, 8-4 former Head Coaches available for this December. At MSU, we should jump at a fired HC or former HC who averaged 7 to 8 wins per year for his career! That would be like winning the Lottery for MSU!!!

Yeah. If we had a time out I maybe understand trying to get closer. But with no time outs just kick it. Lebby outsmarted himself. And for a 5th year qb, Shapen had zero awareness of the situation.
SEC competition was WAY worse when Croom was coaching.
He should have continued to run ball then instead of call the timeout when he did.

Exactly. And really, 5-10 yards closer was meaningless. If ferrie kicks it straight it’s good. If he doesn’t 5-10 yards closer isn’t going to matter.
