By the time all budgets cuts are made and the bids come in over expectations I expect to get the usual low ball half azz done light system (think Hump underwhelming remodel). I'm envisioning some old retired guy sitting on a stool at the breaker box with a walkie talky to his ear getting instructions on when to throw the existing switches on and off
Selmon starting 2025 with a bang! The only thing that would've made that video better is a subtitle as he's flipping the switch saying "Yo SPS, how do you 17ers like me now?"

Don’t laugh. I’m old enough to have gone to the first night game at DWS using temporary lights.

This always struck me as one of the dumbest things fans/podcasters found to complain about. Sound system being awful was a much bigger problem in my book.

The ON3 article said that there was a lighting upgrade in 2010. We were still going to all the games then and I don't remember any lighting improvements. I don't remember any improvements at all, 2010 or otherwise.
I remember that week how everyone was pumped about the portable lights coming in for the big “tv” game!

This is not even close to the truth. Did you just make this up to feel six pack cool. Because this is going to be a very nice upgrade to DWS along with some other enhancements to both south video and premium seating.
