Herbie is soft as Charmin. But it was a touching tribute to a guy I always enjoyed watching

In 2024, GameDay averaged 2.2 million viewers for its best season ever, according to ESPN's internal numbers. The show saw a 6% increase from 2023 and 5% over the prior season high.
I want to see them have those numbers over the years. Just as Corso led game day for so many years and kept those numbers, I'll consider him a success.
ESPN is paying him $85MM. Given that, most would already consider him a success.
Some people may call that success, but others may call it stupid.

It's generational differences. I won't watch him at all. But many younger Gen Z guys like his takes and energy. Others are indifferent. And yes I think Barstool is trash as well.
Diddy grew by singing gospel music a few years back. Beyonce with country music. NFL with the Swift romance. ESPN grows somewhat with Pat but I'm guessing he's not the sole factor.
