For a Hollywood actor, he always came across as a down-to-earth, regular guy.

My 1a for greatest living Western actor. Now that spot belongs solely to Wes Studi.

He had a place in Middleburg and rode a lot. Was just browsing the latest Middleburg Life magazine and they were mentioned. He seemed to be living the rancher lifestyle for long time.

My favorite genres are Mob Movies and Westerns and he played memorable roles in both. Dang, time catches up to us all. RIP and hope to see you in heaven someday!

People in middleburg aren’t “ranchers”. Rode my gravel bike out there a lot and always wondered where his place was.

he was also a very accomplished tango dancer and aficionado.

my favorite sleeper Duvall movie was the apostle.
