This is a wild hill to die on. But if you think those guys helped us, go for it. Anyone can pull their conference stats. They are not good
So Dohm, a 3rd round pick, was not a guy the staff should go after? He wasn’t good enough? I guess we should go after 1st and 2nd round picks only in the portal?

Larry and is .775 SEC OPS were not good enough? By the way, Jake Mangum’s OPS in 2017 was .765. Not his SEC OPS. Overall.

ETA: Tyler Davis had a 1.04 ERA in conference play last year. 12 appearances. 17 innings. Teams hit .177 against him. Didn’t help us****

Sometimes you have to be the alpha as head coach and from what I can see - he wasn't an alpha. From 19-21 - he had alpha's that were also good players.
That's probably the most spot on thing I've seen and agree. The alphas that he didn't recruit won it and pushed the team and he just never replaced the alphas.

I lived and coached in Monroe at NLU (basketball) which is now called ULM years ago. It is a good place to live and expectations in sports are not real high as far as football. I think Lemonis would be ok at ULM as he would not be under any pressure. I wish him the best.
Reminds me of Raffo's gig at ArkSt. Hope he has more support for his baseball program than Raffo got.

How is this remotely worth a ****?? If he gets it, then god bless! I’d be happy for him, but after the BOC Introduction, there isn’t a chance he lives up to our new coach. This cat is coming in Blazing. But gotta give credit. Well now I take it back bc I wish him all the luck. If he gets the job, does GOAT follow? For now?

Lem and family have already moved to SC, and I do not think this ULM stuff holds water.

Not to mention Lemo would probably be making 1/10th of what he made at MSU. Federico's salary was 126k

Good thing starkvegas doesn't have whole foods, trader Joe's, or target. He would have been very wise to put away 90% of what he made at state

Lemonis is going to get $1.2 million from State but will need to subtract whatever he makes if he gets hired by someone.
