Old Coach66 coaches an 8 year old full tackle team here in Madison and we met the only other undefeated team in the league tonight and I pulled a bona fide Les Myles. I lost track of the downs and went for a first down late in the game with an 8-0 lead with 4th and 12 from my own 40, of course we did not make it. I thought it was third down, geez.

Of course this led to a score for the other team but fortunately we prevailed when we held them out of the end zone on the
two point conversion.

Les, brother it really is a bad feeling with 50 fans on the sidelines, I can imagine how it must feel with 92,000 plus.

If you guys ever get a chance to coach these young kids in tackle football please do it because you won't find many things in
life more rewarding. These kids are having the time of their life.

for giving up your time and putting up with the heat, cold, mosquitoes and gnats and most of all the whiney baby parents. You guys (and gals) are the unsung heroes of the sports world.

With a lot of hard work and a little luck, you may one day make it to the top of the coaching mountain like Coach34. Then you'll know what pressure really is.

sports due to the high divorce rate. The crowds are surpisingly large and the spectators really get into the games. The cheerleading academy provides cheering squads for some of the games to add to the already electric atmosphere. You can get the schedules at MRYC.com if you are looking for a date.

possiblity in the future as fervent as these folks are about this league. The league does a good job and should be applauded
for what they do. I think the kids that are participating at this young age are really going to better players in the future because of it. Footballis a religion in the south and you can see it even at this level.
