Less than 24 hours later they're gushing

Wow. Every OM fan is now totally on board with this guy. Last night this was the biggest joke on the internet, now they're gushing.

This morning I would have pegged their fan base at over 80% pissed at this hire, that has flipped after a 40 minute presser.

I'm not debating the hire, who knows how he'll work out. I'm just puzzled by the flip flop.

Cross on Head to Head is showing some serious man love for this new hire, even more so than Bo Bounds desires to let Petrino use his mouth as an athletic cup.

This fanbase has been in the pits of hell the past couple of years. There is no where to go but up for them. The tiniest bit of hope to them is like winning the powerball lottery. The wind will be sucked out of these sails upon the first loss.

how silly it was and how you don't see Penn State or Alabama changing up their unis. He went on and on about how played out the changing of the uniform practice was. I think he even threw out one of his patented "Just stop it"s, no to be confused with his "Aw Come On!". Of course, when the rebs wore their confederate greys later, he loved it. There is no hiding his homerism and with the format of the show, I don't think it's required..

Having said that, I like Head to Head.

I like H2H also except that Cross doesn't allow Wyatt to have any negative Ole Miss opinions or pro MSU opinions without Cross turning to Egg Bowl smack.

Cross also seems incapable of having a semi-unbiased opinion of MSU. Just last week he was saying there was no reason to thing that a Hud (or whoever) that replaces Mullen could pick up where Mullen left off. Yep, no reason to think that whatsoever.
