Alright so we've taken the step of actually beating the ****** teams instead of occasionally losing to them. What's your point? My point is I want us to play our damn hearts out, play with passion, and RELENTLESS 17ING EFFORT EVERY FREAKIN' TIME WE STEP ON THE FIELD. We don't, and you are ok with that? Just because we beat the teams we are supposed to beat and get freakin steamrolled by the better teams? Come on, man. Why can't you see my point?
Freeze had his team absolutely ready to play after a heartbreaking loss to Auburn... they JUST ABOUT BEAT A TOP 10 A&M in front of an insane crowd. That same A&M team ran us the 17 off our own field on the first drive last year. So did Alabama, and LSU (in the second half), but that's ok because we beat Bowling Green (and we should have lost), MTSU, Alcorn, Memphis, and UK (and occasionally OM... but don't be surprised if they show up to play and we don't aGAIN) every year to get us to 6-7 wins and go to bowl games. You are OK with that? Why, after year 5 can we not start to see another tangible step taken with our program? South Carolina used to suck, but look where they are now. 7 years ago, they were a step above UK and Vandy. So when will our turn be? When will we wake up and seriously challenge or beat the LSU's, A&M's, Alabama's on our schedule instead of playing "not to lose" and get throttled when it matters? Why is that too much to ask from our head coach we are paying $3MM a year for?
