While clearly, the biggest issue with this team is lack of offense, I felt the defense did very well in the second half with a few exceptions. A few things I noticed:

-Darius Slay looked pretty good at times. Not just on the pick-6 either.
-Our DL actually showed up in the 2nd half and pressured the qb and had some nice run stops.
-Our linebackers actually made a difference in the second half. Lawrence, Skinner, and Wilson had.... ok games. Which leads me to...
-Wilson obviously saw the issues and turned things around at halftime. I'm not in love with Wilson by any means, but he has the resume to be a DC; also, unlike Manny, this is is his first DC job (spare me the co-DC title ********). There was bound to be a learning curve, but he's not a bad coach in my opinion at this stage. Yes I'm aware of the Auburn game. In the second half, UGA's possessions were 3 punts, a fumble, a pick 6, a missed FG and a made FG.

The difference in the game seemed to be a bunch of Freshmen and RedshirtFreshmen the announcers kept calling out for UGA today.Murray and the stud running back were in controlin the first half to a degree. But Goergia signed a bunch of palymakers on both sides over the last 2 years and it is starting to show.

I believe they had a TOP 5 recruiting class by one service.

We do not run a true screen play like we did against Mich. and Mississippi last year. I believe Auburn runs pretty much the same offense but they use their tight end just the right amount of times to make plays. And the option....oh that pesky option that was so difficult to stop late last year....just doesn't exist when your QB has the authority to read the dive or keeper. If we are going to run in the middle so dang much, why not just put QB under center and at least your RB has a running start when he gets the ball. Maybe he can gain 2 or 3 yards instead of 1.*
