Something native to Starkville that nobody has mentioned: Stromboli's

/I think Dooey's is gonna be the obvious choice.

Christy's Hamburger!!!! if he can eat a jumbo bacon cheeseburger with a large brown paper bag of crinkle cuts after watching ex-large blackwoman in jogging pants streached to the max flipping the burger then he is my hero.

Lil Dooey is good, but it's nothing even close to special. I'd go for the Veranda or Mugshots.

Grumpy's already got a good plug from the ESPN announcers during the JSU game, plus it's pretty good bbq and has a unique setup with that big *** video screen in the back.

...was the first time in many years it was as good as it was back in my college days. The meat is about as good as any good BBQ place. But I think their mild sauce is special, and that carries over to the baked beans as does the beer the put in them. And I love the garlic puck toast.

After they bulldozed over the shack the place and food wasn't the same. It was the driest greasy burger I've ever eaten.

Pronounced by the owner as Yean Cafe... I would love to see Jean on TV with her famous sweater outfit on.. And Todd better order cheese wontons or be disgraced by Yean

Across the board (or in this case, menu) Grumpy's has been the best place in town that serves barbecue since opening up. Everything I've had there has been delicious. If he wanted to go more upscale, my vote would go to The Veranda. Even though the service has been hit or miss the last three times I've been, the food is usually great. Oby's is a nice option too, but I doubt Todd will go there. If it's Dooey's, and my guess is it will be, it will be a disappointment. Don't get me wrong... the food is good and I enjoy the atmosphere, but ever since they sold out, the taste of just about everything has seemed a little more generic than it used to be.

and the ***** STILL talked my ear off when I came to pick up my food. She loves to brag about how good her food is, while you're eating it. *****, I come here often and pay for your food, you dont have to convince me of anything! Her huband is cool as hell though.
